When you give to House of Prayer Restoration, you’re not just donating money – you’re investing in a mission that changes lives and uplifts our community. Your generous support helps us fulfill our calling to be a beacon of hope, love, and service in Milwaukee. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a tangible difference.
TITHES
A tithe is 10% of your income and it is God’s plan for financing His church. Tithes are used for paying utilities, meeting payrolls, purchasing supplies, and the overall operations of the church. The tithe is essential to carrying out the Great Commission of the Church.
OFFERINGS
Anything you give more than the required tithe counts as an offering. Unlike tithing, which has a required amount of how much you should give, offerings are more of a free will. Offerings are used in the same manner as a tithe.
BENEVOLANCE
The Benevolent fund is used for charitable contributions to the sick and others who are in need. This fund supported many members who were effected by Hurricane Harvey, is used on a regular basis to feed the hungry, and have supported those needing medical supplies. The church has met and continues to meet the needs of many members of the church and community from Benevolent fund proceeds.
