The Beginings
House of Prayer Restoration was founded in 2020 with a simple, yet profound mission: to be a place of healing, hope, and restoration for the people of Milwaukee. From our humble beginnings as a small group of believers, we have grown into a vibrant and welcoming church, united by our love for God and our desire to serve the community.
The Church Body
We believe in the power of prayer, the strength of community, and the transformative grace of Jesus Christ. Our church is not just a building – it’s a family. A place where anyone, from any walk of life, can come to experience the love of Christ, grow in their faith, and connect with others. As scripture tells us, “For my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:7, NIV). We embrace this calling wholeheartedly, creating a space where every individual can come and find peace, hope, and belonging in the presence of God.
The Formation
Over the years, we’ve developed deep ties within the Milwaukee community through our outreach programs, food pantry, support for single mothers, and various ministries for all ages. We open our doors to all, offering a place of refuge, prayer, and restoration. As we continue to grow, we invite you to be a part of our journey.
